The Association

The “Tre Sassi” association was officially born in 2013 as a non-profit cultural and historical association.

The registered office is the Museum of the great war 14-18 “three stones”.

President is the curator of the museum and association: Loris Lancedelli.

The association includes: collectors, enthusiasts, supporters and re-enactors. In addition to the great friendship, the great love for the mountains, the passion for the great war, unites them.

The re-enactors wear faithful reproductions of uniforms and equipment, and narrate the war live. By simulating situations and settings, they effectively manage to convey, what were the living and fighting conditions of the soldiers of the time.

STATUTE OF THE SOCIAL PROMOTION ASSOCIATION “Tre Sassi – Edelweiss Stellung”
TITLE ONE – GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Constitution, headquarters and duration.

1. The association for social promotion called “Tre Sassi” Museum with headquarters “in tra i sass” in the Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo has been established, in compliance with the Civil Code and the relevant legislation.

2. The variation of the venue does not imply statutory modification, but obligation to communicate to the competent offices.

3. The duration is indefinite.

Article 2. Statute.

1. The “Tre Sassi” Museum Association is governed by this Statute and acts in accordance with and for the purposes of Law number 383/2000, of the regional implementation legislation and of the general principles of the legal system concerning the endless entities of profit of social utility.

Article 3. Amendments to the Statute.

1. The present Statute is modified by resolution of the Assembly to be adopted with the presence of at least two thirds of the members and the favorable vote of the majority of those present.

Article 4. Purpose.

1. The association is a non-profit organization and pursues aims of promotion and social utility in the territories of the 1914-1918 war, from the management of museums and historical itineraries, to restoration, historical enhancement, creation of events, guided tours or various activities aimed at understanding conflicts with the aim of promoting peace.

2. To achieve its objectives, the Association intends to carry out the following activities:

Management of the “Tre Sassi” Museum;
Management of historical routes;
Restoration and maintenance of museums and historical itineraries;
Creation and management of events;
Fundraising to maintain existing structures and recover new ones;
Create historical experts;
Create groups or activities for the knowledge of conflicts and how to avoid them to create consciences on the theme of peace.

3. In addition to the main activities, the Association can carry out complementary activities.

In particular, for members, pursuant to article 31, paragraphs 2 and 3, of law 383/2000, they may:

set up spaces in which the institutional activities are carried out where food and drinks can be administered;
organize travel and tourist stays, as well as tourist and accommodation activities for its members, such as moments of socialization and cultural development.
